2026 Innovation Forum Recap
On March 26, 2026, over 400 DCIIA members and guests gathered in Newport Beach to explore innovation across retirement income, AI, private assets, plan design, and participant engagement. The forum reinforced that the DC system is shifting decisively from accumulation toward a broader mandate—delivering personalization, income, and financial security—and that the next phase of innovation will favor organizations that reduce friction, integrate into existing plan architecture, and help participants make better decisions.
