Methodology

As the independent digital transfer solution for millions of participants, Manifest offers a data-driven perspective across 34 providers within the retirement savings landscape. Our prediction model is powered by our proprietary data and supplemented with over 75 industry, academic, and federal sources, with aggregated data across 715,000 retirement plans and more than 80 million participants to deliver comprehensive industry metrics on account balances, contributions, rollovers, withdrawals, and plan activity.

This annually updated dashboard benchmarks participant behavior and reveals emerging trends, providing critical insights into the defined contribution system's health. Open to all industry practitioners, further analysis of this dashboard, along with industry research and insights, is available on DCIIA's Resource Library. We'll update the dashboard following peer review.
