The DCIIA Retirement Research Center released findings from the retirement industry's first asset allocation analysis of custom target date fund strategies, drawing on data from 65 plans and 673 unique funds representing over $340 billion in cTDF assets. The inaugural survey categorizes allocations across more than 40 asset classes and is intended to support plan sponsors and asset allocators in custom glidepath discussions.

DCIIA and WIPN Host Diversity and Inclusion Event
Co-hosted with the Women in Pensions Network at PIMCO's Newport Beach offices, this inaugural member event brought together speakers from McKinsey, LeanIn.org, Korn Ferry, and Cisco to explore diversity, inclusion, and talent pipeline challenges in the defined contribution industry. The event ran alongside DCIIA's annual Innovation Forum, which featured separate sessions on artificial intelligence, ESG implementation, blockchain technology, and retirement savings gaps.
