Trust & Recordkeeping Committee

The DCIIA Trust & Recordkeeping Committee provides a forum to encourage and promote research, dialogue, education and best practices related to operational considerations related to institutional investment approaches. The Committee was established in accordance with DCIIA’s founding charter and core beliefs. It brings together a diverse group of industry professionals, including: investment managers, insurance companies, consultants, record keeping and trust companies, plan sponsors, law firms, academia and others focused on improving outcomes for American workers by advocating the application of sound policies and solutions.  We will work closely with the other DCIIA committees to review their initiatives from an operational perspective.

• Encourage industry operational practices that support institutional investing approaches and plan features such as automatic enrollment and increase that will in turn improve outcomes for participants
• Encourage a forum for sharing best practices related to interaction between institutional investment providers, consultants, trustees and record keepers as it relates to projects, research and positions endorsed by DCIIA.
• Coordinate efforts with industry groups such as SPARK on operational topics of interest to DCIIA.
• Act as resource to plan sponsors for objective information on operational topics related to DCIIA projects and interests.
